De toekomstThe future
Nu de fabrieksactiviteiten van Codrico gestopt zijn wordt het terrein komende jaren door RED Company getransformeerd in een nieuw en bruisend kwartier op Katendrecht.Now that Codrico’s factory operations have ceased, the site will be transformed over the coming years by RED Company into a vibrant new district on Katendrecht.
Naast woningen zal er ruimte zijn voor kantoren, winkels, een hotel, horeca en culturele activiteiten. Met behoud van het monumentale karakter van de fabriek groeit het gebied als een levendig stadsdeel gelegen tussen FENIX en het Nederlands Fotomuseum.In addition to residential housing, the development will include space for offices, shops, a hotel, hospitality venues and cultural activities. While preserving the monumental character of the factory, the area will evolve into a lively urban district situated between FENIX and the Nederlands Fotomuseum.
